Another skyline shot. Last light by the time we got the camera ready. I really wish this buck wasn't broken.
Dan Allred
Love that buck! So cool looking and a Couse Buck on top of that. Sweet!
Matt Nesbit
Great shot! Would 10 minutes before have been better? Either way great shot and no apologies on that buck!!

I took this in Mex a few years ago. Typically I hate turning the camera the "wrong" way for a portrait. In this case I dig it. Funny, none of these pics I'm posting are of me... I guess I'm better beh...

Pops, and a kitty cat...
Matt Nesbit
I like that one a lot. It's not a trophy cat (correct?) but the picture tells a good story.

A 61# Steelhead...or at least one that's bigger than a black lab. I can't stand people who long arm everything, like a 6# fish or 113" deer but I can dig the long arm on a truly big animal from time t...

Belle was weighed at the vet the day before #17, the fish is bigger than her. That was one of the first (and last) fish she ever gave a damn about...
Dan Allred
Man I didn't catch the dog either. I just thought he was happy to see the fish.

This picture is as much about scenery as anything else. Me and the bull are just characters within the overall frame.

Awesome picture Dan.

Yeah I have trouble with the "stone cold no smile look" you see a lot these days.
Dan Allred
Never understood that. I am always worried after the shot. Mostly because I am not 100% sure of the hit, unless I KNOW the animal went down. After I find it, it's all smiles!!!
Dan Allred
Some good submissions, keep em coming.

One of my favorites. I like to skyline the subjects. Especially if there's not much scenery that will "add" to the shot.
Dan Allred
good tip, skylining is a great technique.

Went for a short hike for the first time this year. I need to go a lot more to get back in shape. About 400ft elevation gain in a mile. took about 20 minutes to get there.
